from anywhere, but hello anyway!

I was an occasional AC over at GLP, and am a member at several other news-oriented forums (under a much different name). I am VERY impressed with what you have going here as the only good thing (IMHO) about GLP is/was the 1% of posters there who were excellent at news-gathering...the obnoxiousness and vitriol and buffoonery seriously detracted from it though, so I'm glad to see that one of the best people from over there has created a brand new home.

So far this place seems to be off to a great start. I am also rather heartened that the people on here are so nice and pleasant to each other...quite a night and day difference from the other forum.
