I love that too! One of my most treasured possessions is the blu-ray box set of the new Galactica series. I have the novels too. I have the original series also on DVD and the Galactica 1980 series

Me too, only I have yet to make the jump to Blu-Ray... I have everything you can think of from the new series, all 4 regular seasons, the two movies, all the seasons guides and other books written on the subject. I've even got into some uniforming and rank insignia, etc. Also have the two Mobius models released thusfar. I add to the collection all the time.

Much insight and wisdom underlying the story. Gives you a certain perspective on THIS world as well I think.

Dr. Who rules!!!!! Im a big fan as well, but came in kinda late as I started with Christopher Eccleston as the doctor. But yeah, love the series and David Tennant is the best doctor hands down. Oh.....and don't get me started on the latest dr....I really despise him Evil or Very Mad

Doctor Who Empty Dr. Who fan from way back!!!

Post by me Sun Feb 06, 2011 7:54 pm

Yea...

I LOVE Dr. Who...

Would stay up to all hours of the night to watch it as a child... he-he... Never "grew" out of it!

The old stuff and the newer stuff... All great to me...

Funny how one doctor dies and you think- nope, never again will I love a doctor as much as this one... And next thing you know, you are hooked on the next and cherish him as much as the one before....

Lessons of life, I tell ya'

Cheers

I love, Dr. Who too! Thought I would share this, not sure who has heard yet as it is a little old/ I had not heard it until my BF played it for me. Its a little campy but still fab!

I wouldn't say that, in fact I would consider it sad if we weren't all a little quirky! I had posted another song in the "other" Egypt thread a couple days ago cause it fit their cause so much. It was by Muse, called Uprising. Then I find it mixed with Doctorin the Tardis!

Here's another great video. It's a mashup of Dr. Who and Green Day. It's called Doctor Who on Holiday and it's awesome.

Jon Pertwee, Tom Baker, David Tennant

When I was in hospital and quite ill Tom took the time to write to me (I was about 12) and we have kept in on and off contact ever since. I met Jon a few times at various events too and such a gent!

Do you know where David T started his career on Who? He did bit parts for the Doctor Who audiobooks range made by Big Finish. They have over 200 audio releases now with all the original cast members in original audio only stories. Tennant is great in them and it is one of the reasons he was picked up for the role. He has also been a member of the Doctor Who Appreciation Society for many years before taking the role!

www.bigfinish.com

take a look at the Doctor Who range in there. When I get a chance I will take photos of my Doctor Who room for everyone with all these CDs, DVDs, etc
