The report was confirmed this morning by Bahrain daily Al Wasat who indicated that just prior to leaving for his resort in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Mubarak became comatose.

Yes, I saw this on another site this morning. Supposedly he had two fainting spells before his big speech. Who knows if it's real or not. Time will tell

Mubarak is still in Sharm El-Sheikh. Here's what I know - he was supposed to have gone for a medical check-up Jan 26 which was planned while ago. He has supposedly pancreatic cancer, and he also has cardiac issues.
Since the demo's happened, he couldn't go for his medical check-up or treatment, and with all the stress people have said his health deteriorated badly, rumored of a heart attack 3 days before he stepped down and now he's supposed to have a depression as well. He's being stubborn and does not want to leave Egypt.

I have a feeling he will die in his Palace in Sharm El-Sheikh very soon - he kept saying that he wants to die on egyptian soil, so I guess that's why he's staying.

Two Cairo newspapers said Mubarak was refusing to take medication, suffering from depression and repeatedly passing out at his residence in the Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh. There was no immediate confirmation of the reports.

LMAO Snark - I think actually that he's wanting to die, look at the mess him and his family are in now. He was supposed to go to Germany last month for treatment or whatever, so actually he's over due. I wouldn't be surprised if he will die soon. That's what he wants, die on egyptian soil.

But I hope Alaa and Gamal are going to stand trial....very soon hopefully.
