I expected him to go to Germany under the umbrella of medical issues, and then be declared as on death's door,exempting him from being prosecuted for crimes against humanity, etc.

The report was confirmed this morning by Bahrain daily Al Wasat who indicated that just prior to leaving for his resort in Sharm-el-Sheikh, Mubarak became comatose.

Actually the friend I talked to earlier today said that it was rumored he'd suffered a heart attack 5 days ago and that his medical condition is deteriorating. He's got pancreatic cancer, rumored, and he has cardiac issues. He was supposed to be in Germany for a medical check-up anyhow around January 26th, before the demonstrations started but of course he had to stay.
I wouldn't be surprised if he'd die within a month or two...

If he's truly in a coma he should have been flown to Israel where he could bunk in with Ariel Sharon!

Looters attacked a government building, set fire to a police station, and attacked the homes of regime security officials, he said.

(assuming bs) I know THEY will want to cremate a few packs of camels so there is no chance of an autopsy then show us some ashes. So we need people we trust to get there first

Why dont Muslims cremate the deceased?
why do muslims bury instead of cremating? is it haram for muslim to get cremation?

All praise is due to Allah.

Muslims do not cremate the deceased because burning the body an act of disrespect and dishonour.

Furthermore, fire is the Punishment of Allah for those who are in the hellfire, may Allah protect us.

The funeral rites in Islam are to give honour and respect to the deceased such as washing the body, putting perfume on it and shrouding it in white.

Even if a body is cremated. it will no doubt still be brought back to life on the day of Judgement. In fact, when bodies are created there is a small bone that is incapable of decomposing or being burned to dust and does not perish in fire and the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) stated that it is from this bone that our bodies will be brought back together by Allah on the day of Judgement.

Finally, cremation is typically an act that is done by those who disbelieve in Allah and the Last Day and does not befit the believers.

I just wrote an article here expressing my concern for the new founded democratic military supreme council (insert sarcasm here). Even El-Baradei is now concerned. Honestly though, what did they expect? Like it or not, Mubarak is a military man, and egypt just gave it's people the green light for his inner circle to take charge.

So, Mubarak dies and meets Sadat and Nasser in the afterlife. They ask him: "Poisoned or assassinated?" He replies : "Facebooked"."

He's right actually. Think about it. The military was supposed to pave the way for QUICK, I repeat.. QUICK moves towards a transitional government. However, what have they done thus far? Forcing people back to work, and banning unions? Elections to take place in SIX MONTHS. I'm sorry, but the original agreement was a move towards a transitional government IMMEDIATELY to pave the way for free elections, not simply instigating military rule effective now.

He's right actually. Think about it. The military was supposed to pave the way for QUICK, I repeat.. QUICK moves towards a transitional government. However, what have they done thus far? Forcing people back to work, and banning unions? Elections to take place in SIX MONTHS. I'm sorry, but the original agreement was a move towards a transitional government IMMEDIATELY to pave the way for free elections, not simply instigating military rule effective now.

Social justice requires the lifting of the lid of repression. Edicts to ban meetings and unions is effectively giving the elite the protection they need to prevent the revolution from actually materializing. What next? An IMF imposed austerity plan?
