An Egyptian couple has named their newborn baby 'Facebook' to commemorate the site's role in the unprecedented uprising in the North African country.

The Alexandria couple who first decided to name their daughter after Cairo's Liberation Square, finally settled on Facebook which is believed by many to have had a major role in Egypt's pro-democracy movement, abcNEWS reported.
