North Korea says "no need for further talks"
Moments ago via various news outlets word from North Korean delegation that walked out abruptly from talks with South Korea stated that "there was no need for any further military talks". Apparent disagreement which led the North Korean delegation to walk out of was the North's refusal to apologize for two incidents which led to the deaths of both South Korean sailers and civilians after the sinking of the South Korean naval ship and more recently the shelling of one of South Korea's islands by the North in which the North claimed the South Korean artillery violated it's territory.

The temptation to just say "nothing will happen because it never does" is quite high, but where N.Korea is concerned that is debatable.

Funnily enough, March seemed to be the preferred prediction after the last event in November. The question obviously is whether S.Korea would do more in retaliation for a similar incident.

The South would have to do something this time you would think or the public outcry would be far worse than last time and I think the North knows that but weather that would stop them is another thing.

Well yeah, and there's always the chance that the North don't think the South would do anything after the lack of reaction to the previous two incidents.

Could well be true, that's why it's so interesting and scary, No one can no what the North think or is about to do, Not even them at times possible.

Yeah, they're not exactly predictable, which is what makes it scary.
