honestly the ferry being stuck is what happens when you do thing half way.. which the US is notorious at.. look at the british and Germans when they do something they usually go full out.

because they are using a boat which cant traverse rough seas.. this is what i mean by going half way... the British sent an actual naval ship which can go in rough seas. why cant we? we have a bunch of vessels in the area.. a nuclear powered carrier was/is 3 days away.. they could have taken 1 ship from that fleet ( about 15 ships in total)

It's a good point.

Some state Dept. geek is probably cleaning out his desk right now. (But he saved some tax dollars!)

I guess we'll have to play wait and see. We do have other ships offshore and I have been peeking on flightradar and planes seem to be landing every few minutes.
