nobody really knows. They are just asking people to arrive at the airport from whichever country. Estimates range from 2-6000

AFP wire talking about some of the statements coming from Gadaffi Duck in the past and questioning his sanity.

Apparently, he issued a statement to the Arab League saying without a doubt that Shakespeare was an Arab.

He also proclaimed that America was really founded by the Arabs, when the Emir Ka settled there and that is where the name comes from!

Not oil fields: seaport and refinery.
Marsa el-Brega or Marsā al-Burayqah, is situated in Libya on the Gulf of Sirte.

Khameez/ Khamees/ Khamiss/ Kamissi/ etc spellings = Gaddafi "praetorian guards" -- most loyal -- lived lives of special favor - much like Saddam's Republican Guards = most feared and hated.

Have to go to work soon, alas. Have been listening to Malta's air traffic control at www.liveatc.net and watching aircraft that are on radar at www.liveradar24.com.

There was a French Air Force Airbus A340 heading south for east Tunisia/west Libya. It has now disappeared from the online radar that I can see - just means it was descending, probably.

JAT Airways also with a flight possibly heading for Tripoli.

Unfortunately, Tripoli's air traffic control is not online, as far as I can tell.

This sort of nonsensical rapidfire word association ( 'Emir Ka' = 'America') -- the belief that concepts, ideas, or words themselves are connected simply because they sound the same is extremely typical -- almost diagnostic -- of schizophrenia.

yes... the one from norway.. I read that he is vienna.. (or at least, was in vienna Wink

and also on the thread from yesterday.. I was pretty sure that those infos are wrong, because they were in vienna last week.. but the newspaper article came out thursday..

I seriously doubt that they again are in vienna, in the same hotel..
