that doesnt sound good, although by tomorrow he may have no-one left to root out protesters with him if they keep defecting. It might be Muammar on his mule going house to house!

Obama lacks the nerve, at least with Bush this would've been over already, Gaddafi would've been dead or out of country by now and we would've bombed his military into submisson

Weren't there reports to that effect yesterday too?

As for the "Obama's doing nothing" point, as I said yesterday there's not much he can do yet. If the UNSC is indeed meeting today then we may get some form of resolution which allows military force, otherwise it's unlikely.
